Celebrating Eid al-Adha Through Community and Togetherness
BTID joined the Muslim community of Kampung Bugis, Serangan, in celebrating Eid al-Adha 1446 H, a meaningful occasion marked by sharing, compassion, and community spirit.
As part of the celebration, BTID donated sacrificial animals to Masjid As-Syuhada, one of Bali’s oldest mosques. Together with local residents, the mosque distributed 27 sacrificial animals (5 cows and 22 goats) to families in need across the community.
The event reflected the spirit of harmony that has long characterized Serangan, where people from different backgrounds come together in mutual respect and cooperation. Hindu and Muslim residents worked side by side to support the preparations and distribution, demonstrating the values of inclusivity and social solidarity.
According to BTID Head of Communications, Zakki Hakim, the initiative is part of BTID’s ongoing commitment to supporting local communities and fostering an inclusive and sustainable future for the Kura Kura Bali Special Economic Zone.
Through moments like these, Eid al-Adha becomes more than a religious observance—it serves as a reminder of the importance of compassion, togetherness, and shared responsibility within the community.
