Abode Bali: Celebrating Balinese Culture and Heritage
Located within the Kura Kura Bali Special Economic Zone (SEZ), Abode Bali is a cultural space dedicated to preserving and sharing the richness of Balinese heritage. Open to the public free of charge, the gallery invites visitors to explore a carefully curated collection of traditional artifacts, artworks, textiles, and cultural treasures from across Bali.
Established in 2022, Abode Bali serves as a place for learning, inspiration, and cultural appreciation, particularly for younger generations. Among its notable collections is an antique selonding gamelan, reflecting Bali’s deep artistic traditions and inspiring cultural education programs for local communities.
According to the gallery’s curators, Abode Bali was created to help reconnect people with their cultural roots while fostering greater appreciation for Indonesia’s diverse heritage.
As part of Kura Kura Bali’s commitment to culture and community, Abode Bali reflects the values of Tri Hita Karana—the harmony between people, nature, and the divine—and serves as a welcoming space where culture, creativity, and learning come together.
